Our club advisors
At Norbury Green FC, our club advisors bring valuable grassroots experience, administrative expertise, and trusted guidance to support our leadership team, coaches, and young players behind the scenes.
Decades of grassroots leadership
Our advisor Steve Davis brings over 34 years of hands-on experience in grassroots football, including 29 seasons on the Tandridge League Management Committee, primarily serving as League Treasurer. A registered referee with Surrey FA, Steve offers a wealth of knowledge in league governance, fair play, and football administration to ensure our club operates smoothly and ethically.
Fostering growth, inclusion, and education
With a professional background in finance, a decade of experience working in secondary education, and an active history supporting school and girls' football programmes, Steve helps us nurture an encouraging environment. His strategic insight strengthens our development pathways from U7 to U15, giving children of all abilities the confidence to develop at their own pace.
Guidance behind the scenes
Our advisory team operates behind the scenes, advising our committee on long-term strategy, operational standards, and best practice. For everyday matters such as training times, player registration, or team progress, families and prospective players should reach out to their team coach or club officials directly.
"Our advisors bring essential experience and trusted guidance to Norbury Green FC, helping us create a safe, organised, and inspiring football journey for every child."
